China will put stealth drones on its aircraft carriers

China will present its first UCAV or Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle, a combat drone, operable from the deck of an aircraft carrier, at the Zhuhai Airshow next November. Presented under the name "Caihong-X", this drone would be stealthy, like the French Neuron, or the American Stingray, and would be capable of being activated by electromagnetic catapults. It should be noted that photos had circulated on Twitter showing the same drone using a springboard comparable to that of the first two Chinese aircraft carriers, which do not have a catapult.

There are today in China no less than 5 official stealth combat drone programs, of different sizes and functions, each being developed by a different laboratory. Furthermore, China has already demonstrated its mastery of drones, with its MALES and HALES drones already operational in China and in several air forces, such as in Egypt which has already used them in combat. .
