The Russian S-500 will be able to integrate multiple detectors to adapt to the threat

If Russia communicates very little on the performance of its future S-500 anti-aircraft and anti-missile detection and defense system, information manages to filter through the declarations of the Russian military and industrialists. Thus, it is now considered very likely that the S-500 system will be based on a modular and scalable architecture, allowing the addition of different detectors and missiles specialized in certain tasks, the system allowing the fusion of data and their redundant processing. Thus, certain radars and missiles will be dedicated to surveillance and anti-ballistic missile protection, while others will have anti-aircraft and anti-cruise missile functions.
