The future Ratnik3 system, the Russian equivalent of the French FELIN, will integrate an exoskeleton, as well as robotic and drone control systems, according to the armyrecognition site. The objective will be to provide equipped units (so not all units will be equipped...) with extended engagement, communication and endurance capabilities.
Today, 80.000 men of the Russian forces (i.e. 10% of the Army's personnel) are effectively equipped with the Ratnik2 device, integrating a tactile communication system, a GLONASS navigation system, and bullet-proof vest and various anti-ballistic protection and load distribution. 200.000 Ratniks were delivered to Russian forces at the end of 2018.
