According to Alexey Krivoruchko, the Russian State Secretary of Defense, who spoke during his visit to the Komsomolsk-sur-Amur factory which will manufacture the Su57, the Russian air forces will receive 20 Su35s fighters from here the end of the year 2020. The information is not really one, the contract concerning the delivery of Su35s in progress indeed anticipated such a delivery which, combined with the deliveries of the 8 aircraft intended for the Indonesian forces, constitute an average rate of 15 devices per year, i.e. the annual production rate observed for almost 5 years.

Since 2015, the Russian Air Force has received, on average, 40 to 45 new fighters each year, consisting of Su30, Su34 and Su35. In the years to come, Su30 deliveries are destined to quickly fade away to give way to the Su57, produced in the same factory. New orders for Su34 and Su35 will undoubtedly be issued in 2020-2021, to continue the replacement of the Su24, 25 and Su27, but also to increase the fleet of available aircraft.

If the rate of 40 new aircraft delivered each year were now, the air fleet of Russia's air and naval forces would be between 1200 and 1400 combat aircraft, i.e. more than the entire European air force expected in 2030, figure to which it would be appropriate to add between 100 and 150 strategic bombers. In this area also, Russian numerical superiority over its European neighbor, even though it is 4 times more populated and 9 times richer, is very marked.
