A few days ago, the Royal Danish Navy published a press release concerning the intervention of the frigate Iver Huitfeldt, to destroy four Houthi drones launched against it and against the escorted ships. On March 9, around 04:00 a.m., the Danish ship detected several Houthi drones, and destroyed them, along with the on-board weapons, before they reached their targets.

This success was widely highlighted by the Danish press. Perhaps hastily. Indeed, according to the Danish site Olfi, specialized in defense issues, the frigate encountered several successive problems, at that time, in the implementation of its armaments, having endangered the ship and the mission.

Without knowing, in the absence of official communication from the Danish Navy, whether it is linked or not, the frigate Iver Huitfeldt, shortly after this message, left the engagement zone , to head to her Danish port, even though she had to stay there until mid-April.

As for the rdevelopments on the Olfi site, they quickly caused excitement and anger in the Danish political class, and great embarrassment on the part of the Minister of Defense, who assured that he had not been informed of the subject, and had initiated investigations in this direction.

Impossible to launch ESSM missiles against Houthi drones

It must be admitted that the problems encountered by the frigate Iver Huitfeldt on March 9, according to this communication cited by the Danish site, are cause for concern. Thus, once the Houthi drones were detected by the radars of the anti-aircraft frigate, the latter began to use one of the 24 ESSM short and medium-range anti-aircraft missiles, embarked in the 12 silos of its Mk56 VLS system.

  1. In a mafia-like Europe as it is imposed on us by our elites, what could be more normal than to note that “small” arrangements between cronies abound here and there? The exchange of the “Ceasar” and the blow of these inoperative missiles are only poor examples of the Ursula dependence which reigns over our responsible but not guilty decision-makers.
